Branding

Origin

Many people ask where the name Euler comes from? The word is pronounced 'Oil-er' and derives from a famous mathemtician of the same name, Leonhard Euler (the character depicted on the graphic on our homepage.) We name our protocol after Euler because he was the discoverer of the formula for compound interest, which is the type of interest users earn on their crypto assets when they deposit into the protocol.

Logo

The main logo is the social icon next to the word 'Euler'. The font name used is Volkhov. The logo font is also used for headers on the website, with Open Sans used everywhere else.

Social

The social icon represents consistent yields on a variety of assets, but also doubles as a rotated 'E'. It doubles as a symbol for the native governance token of the Euler ecosystem, EUL.
